Change is Good! The Vision

The initial purpose of creating this website was to develop an online resource for women’s ministry, particularly for those in smaller churches.  We began over a year ago with our focus on retreat planning.  We have been posting information and helpful advice for all areas of women’s retreat planning, and we are continuing to build on that.

However, our vision for this website is actually far broader.  We want to see this website become a “go-to” site for those planning any kind of women’s event.  We envision a website that would be an “idea bank” — a resource of inspiration for luncheons, seminars and holidays, menus and recipes, themes and decorations, ideas for the promotion of women’s events, problem-solving and money-saving tips, etc.  We also hope to include links to other helpful websites in the future, as well as provide downloadable forms and skits.

Some of these changes will begin to happen immediately.  Others require fundamental changes to the website, requiring skills I hope to learn in an upcoming web design class.  It also requires input from YOU, our readers.  Next week will outline what we need from you–and you will have an opportunity to obtain another skit!  (If you didn’t get the first skit in the series, find out how to get your free Christian skit here.)
